It is a period of adaptation to a new reality where a member of the family, the mate or a loved friend is missing.<\/p>\n<p>During the mourning the person also manifest physical symptoms like restless, insomnia, low appetite, nausea. Being aware of that allows the person to take measures not to be affected by a disease after the death of a relative. Having in mind all these facts will make easier to go through the mourning for death since it is a very difficult moment sooner or later people have to face.<\/p>\n<p>The mourning could last a period of six month or one year; it may vary from one person to another. In any case, the social entourage of the mourner is the most important. The presence of the relatives and the support of friends are vital plus the own fight not to surrender to sadness but to get restored and go on.<\/p>\n<p>The first step to overcome the mourning is to accept the loss and the feelings it enchains. The acceptance takes time, is not immediate, and develops step by step. Secondly, it is important to let feelings manifest; it is important to cry in order to gain relief; also to talk to others about the way you feel and ask for help in case you consider you need it to cope with the mourning for the death of a loved one. There is no place for shame in the process; the mourners need to keep the communication with others to avoid anxiety. A third advice is related to keeping yourself busy but not to the point of getting exhausted. The thing is to avoid getting stuck on your thoughts about what happened but without overcharging yourself with obligations as an escape because it will provoke more anguish. Es un per\u00edodo de adaptaci\u00f3n a una nueva realidad, donde falta un miembro de la familia, la pareja o un amigo muy querido.<br \/> Durante el duelo se experimentan tambi\u00e9n s\u00edntomas f\u00edsicos como fatiga, insomnio, p\u00e9rdida del apetito, n\u00e1useas. Saberlo permite tomar medidas para no dejarse absorber por una enfermedad ante un fallecimiento. Solo el conocimiento de estos factores permitir\u00e1 salir adelante durante el duelo por muerte, pues se trata de un momento muy dif\u00edcil que tarde o temprano se tiene que enfrentar.<br \/> El tiempo que toma el duelo a cada persona es distinto; puede ser de seis meses a un a\u00f1o. Lo fundamental, en todo caso, es el entorno social del afectado. La presencia de otros familiares, el apoyo de los amigos son vitales, sumados a la propia conciencia de no sucumbir a la tristeza sino reponerse y seguir adelante.<br \/> La aceptaci\u00f3n de la p\u00e9rdida y de los sentimientos que \u00e9sta genera es el primer paso para sobrellevar el duelo. No se da de un momento a otro, es algo progresivo, que se da poco a poco. En segundo lugar, es importante dejar que salgan los sentimientos, llorar y desahogarse; hablar con terceros acerca de lo que se siente y pedir ayuda si considera que lo necesita para llevar a delante el duelo por la muerte de un ser querido. En este proceso no hay lugar para la verg\u00fcenza; las personas deben abrirse a la comunicaci\u00f3n y as\u00ed evitar la ansiedad. Un tercer consejo es mantenerse ocupado pero sin excederse. Se trata de no pensar todo el tiempo en lo sucedido pero sin cargarse de responsabilidades como una forma de escape que solo generar\u00e1 m\u00e1s angustia.
